so she dropped him off
at the age of six
without a name
and without a kiss
and that’s the last
memory he has
of something good
that was really bad
so sad
he never had
and special friends
or anyone
who could help him with
his emotions
or lack thereof
his head was full
of mental problems
when he got caught
killing cats
they locked him in the closet and that was that
poor cats
i saw him
just the other day
he’s still in jail
not much more to say
but he’s different now
something in his eyes
the hope is gone
and there is no life
but he says
it’s no different in here
from what I was used to
for all those years
out there
